The picturesque Hampshire village of Selborne, made famous by the pioneering 18th Century ecologist and naturalist, Gilbert White, and one of England’s most celebrated creative spirits, the author Jane Austen, was the natural setting for a workshop where an ecological approach and artistry could combine.
Set against the breath-taking natural backdrop of the South Downs National Park, in the idyllic surroundings of a working farm, where cockerels crow, chickens cluck and llamas pronk, you’ll find our workshop.
Within a converted stable building, our skilled craftsmen create a range of unique, hand-made wood crafts including rustic reclaimed wood, engraved and Lichtenberg wood pieces, wooden wall art and functional wooden pieces for the home such as mirrors, shelves, coat hooks and serving trays as well as extraordinary wooden furniture.
Using traditional tools and reclaimed timber, our craftsmen create pieces and offer a completely bespoke wood crafting service. No commission is too big or too small.
Every single wooden creation we offer is handcrafted using only quality materials, created with skill, integrity & passion. When we say handmade, we really mean it. We don’t fake the ‘aged’ character in the woods we use. It’s not like buying a piece in a typical high street store.
We love using genuine reclaimed wood - wood that is saved from the fire - wood that has a story to tell and the scars of life to prove it.
We take great satisfaction in bringing a new lease of life into timber that could otherwise quite literally be up in smoke.
Our craftsmen apply zeal, skill and technical expertise to every piece they create. Everything we create is artistic, sustainable, unique, rustic & chic.
